Automotive Technician
Salary Range
47k - 62k
Job Summary
To effectively diagnose and repair vehicles assigned to you in a timely manner while observing industry standard safety measures.
General Accountabilities
Performs a full range of skilled automotive repair work, such as minor tune-ups, maintenance, systems diagnosis and repair from brakes to advanced engine controls.
Inspects automotive equipment to determine the corrective action necessary.
Reports all work done and issues observed along with the time accrued on the technician worksheet.
Observes all safety requirements.
Keeps the work area organized and clean to support safety and a professional environment.
Operates and maintains automotive shop equipment.
Performs minor welding and brazing work.
Maintains a current drivers license.

Job Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Experience: 2-3 years related experience
Demonstrates a continuing desire and ability for learning and understanding the technology needed to be a automotive technician.
