School-Based Physical Therapist Supervisor

Harrisburg, PA | 1099 Independent Contractor | $85+/Hour | 3–5 Hours/Week

We are seeking an experienced Physical Therapist (PT) to serve as a School-Based Physical Therapist Supervisor for a large school district in the Harrisburg, PA area.

This is an excellent opportunity for a PT who enjoys working with children and school-based teams and is looking for a small, flexible commitment of approximately 3–5 hours per week.

Position Highlights

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical supervision of a school-based Physical Therapist Assistant

• Assist with and/or participate in physical therapy evaluations as needed

• Review and support appropriate implementation of PT services and treatment plans

• Collaborate with school personnel and the educational team

• Provide clinical consultation and guidance related to students' physical therapy needs

• Help ensure services are provided in accordance with professional standards and school district requirements

• Maintain appropriate professional documentation and communication

Qualifications

• Current Pennsylvania Physical Therapist license in good standing

• Experience working with children preferred

• School-based pediatric experience preferred

• Experience supervising or working with Physical Therapist Assistants preferred

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Ability to work independently and provide sound clinical judgment
