My harp studio is in north Spokane
No, you will play my studio harp during lessons. Students frequently bring it to the first lesson to learn how to tune it properly and change strings.
Lessons are $30 for thirty minutes or $45 for 45 minutes.
Yes, I have a limited number of rental harps available for students taking lessons.
There are two main types of harps – lever (also called Celtic) harp, and pedal harp. The Celtic harp is smaller and frequently used to play folk music. It is the ideal harp for a beginner. The pedal (or concert) harp is used in the symphony orchestra and students may wish to move up to the pedal harp as they become more advanced. I have both harps in my studio.
Prices can vary depending on location, length and music requested. Wedding packages start at $450. I can also provide background music during the cocktail hour or reception for an additional fee.
