Janna offers harp lessons to students of all ages both from her home studio north Spokane. Janna helps students explore the full potential of their harp with classical, celtic, ethnic and contemporary music.
She emphasizes a solid, classical technique that allows students to achieve their goals and eventually play any genre of music! Composition and theory are integrated into lessons.
Video lessons are also available. While in-person lessons are always best, a good internet connection can bridge the gap and create an opportunity to learn harp if no local teacher is available! It can also be useful for coaching sessions on particular pieces of music or particular aspects of performance.
While no musical background is necessary to learn the harp, a piano background is very helpful. A harp is necessary for practice at home and a limited number of rental harps are available. Lessons are $30/30 min and $45/45 min.
